教授， 博士生导师。1969年生，湖南省青年骨干教师。 2001年博士毕业于中南大学概率论与数理统计专业。2004年从中南大学控制科学与技术博士后流动站出站。 2004年至2006年在英国School of Computer Science, Cardiff  University做博士后和访问学者。目前主要从事应用数学、神经网络、控制理论与应用、 调和分析与小波分析与数学建模的研究。在IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks，Physics Letters A， IEE Proceedings Control Theory and Applications，Journal of Computational and Applied Mathematics, Mathematics and Computers in Simulation，Nonlinear Analysis: Theory, Methods & Applications等国内外重要学术刊物及国内外重要学术会议上发表论文60多篇，获得Mathematics and Computers in Simulation ”2007 年度最成功论文奖”。近年来，主持国家自然科学基金和湖南省科技厅科技计划各1项，参加国家自然科学、国家社科基金、教育部人文社会科学研究基金、湖南省科技厅科技计划等项目多项。一直指导全国大学生数学建模竞赛、美国数学建模竞赛和全国研究生数学建模竞赛。
