杨建立副教授，男，博士，2001年毕业于浙江大学土壤与农业化学专业。2004年和2007年毕业于浙江大学植物营养学专业，分别获得硕士和博士学位，导师为郑绍建教授，博士论文“植物外部排斥铝的分子生理及其调控”获得2009年全国百篇优秀博士论文提名奖。2007年7月-2009年6月于浙江大学生命科学学院植物学专业从事博士后研究，期间获得中国博士后科学基金一等资助项目和特别资助项目各1项。2009年7月留校工作，从事植物生理方面的教学和科研工作，并于当年12月晋升为副教授。自硕士以来对植物铝毒和耐铝机制进行了较系统的研究，尤其是在铝诱导植物根系分泌有机酸的调控机制以及细胞壁特性与植物铝毒和耐铝关系方面开展了深入的工作。作为主要成员参与郑绍建教授主持的国家自然科学基金重点项目。目前主持国家自然科学基金一项和国家自然科学基金优秀青年科学基金项目。迄今发表相关学术论文24篇。
