博士，教授。主要从事害虫综合治理的研究。2000年开始以亚洲玉米螟-赤眼蜂为研究对象，开展寄生蜂-寄主关系研究；2004-2006年在美国德克萨斯A&M大学开展“转双价基因棉对蔬菜害虫的影响”的研究。2006年回国后主要从事害虫生物防治研究，目前以烟粉虱-寄生蜂、亚洲玉米螟-赤眼蜂为研究对象，开展寄生蜂寄主进化关系的研究。教授课程主要有：植保专业本科生《农业昆虫学》、生态学专业本科生《景观生态学》、农业昆虫与害虫防治专业研究生课程《昆虫化学生态学》等。
