许家喜：博士，教授,博士生导师。
1987年毕业于北京大学化学系，获理学士，1992年于北京大学化学系获理学博士学位。1992－1994在北京医科大学(现北京大学医学部)药学院做博士后研究。1994年任北京大学化学与分子工程学院副教授。1995.8－1996.2香港中文大学化学系访问副研究员， 2000.3－2002.1年美国科罗拉多州立大学化学系和Vanderbilt大学医学院微生物和免疫学系博士后，2004年－2007年任北京大学化学与分子工程学院教授，2007年北京化工大学理学院有机化学系教授。现任理学院副院长，有机化学系主任。
中国生物化学学会多肽专业委员会委员，中国照明学会光化学与光生物专业委员会委员。现任《Current Organic Synthesis》, 《Molecules》，《The Open Natural Products Journal》，《The Open Spectroscopy Journal》和《化学试剂》杂志编委。Chem. Rev., J. Am. Chem. Soc., Org. Lett., J. Org. Chem.等国际知名杂志的特约审稿人。
目前主要从事的研究领域为：(1) 不对称催化与合成，包括设计合成新型手性配体和手性催化剂，开发新的不对称催化反应； (2) 手性药物及其中间体的合成；手性天然和非天然化合物的合成；(3) b-内酰胺类化合物合成的立体化学研究; (4) 生物活性的氨基酸和肽类化合物的合成。迄今己发表学术论文260余篇，其中SCI收录论文230余篇，论文已被SCI他人引用2000余次。参编著作3部，合译著作1部。申请国家发明专利18项，已获得国家发明专利10项。2002年获得教育部普通高等学校教材二等奖1项。2011年获北京市高等学校教学名师奖。2012年获中国国际多肽会议胡晓遇纪念奖。
