1988、2002、2008年分别从中南大学（原长沙铁道学院）、北京交通大学（原北方交通大学）、华中科技大学获得工学学士、硕士、博士学位，专业分别是计算机软件、计算机应用、模式识别与智能系统。1988.08~1999.08和2002.07~2004.08在郑州铁路局科研所从事科研工作，2002年被铁道部评聘为高级工程师。2004.09~2008.06在华中科技大学图像所攻读博士学位，毕业后留校任教（计算机学院），2009年02月被华中科技大学特批（聘）为副教授。2010.06~2010.08在新西兰University of Canterbury计算机学院交流访问。

        在铁路研究所工作的10多年间，积累了丰富的科研经历和宽广的知识基础，在算法分析与设计、数字电路逻辑设计、各种单片机软硬件系统、EPLD/FPGA、DSP、PLC等方面均有深入的研究。期间，主持和参加了多项铁道部、局的科研课题，并获得多项奖励，主持开发的产品被列为1997年度国家重点新产品推广项目。

1.主持华为研究项目：低照度图像去噪技术研究 (2011.01 ~ 2011.12)。

2.主持国家自然科学基金项目：基于四元数的彩色图像边缘检测和分割方法研究 (项目编号-60972098, 2010.01 ~ 2012.12)。

3.主持湖北省自然科学基金项目：基于四元数的彩色图像混合噪声去除方法 (项目编号-2009CDB075, 2009.01 ~ 2010.12)。
4.主持教育部图像信息处理与智能控制重点实验室开放基金课题：基于振动弹性成像的乳腺癌检测硬件平台研究 (项目编号-200801, 2009.01 ~ 2010.06)。
