教学工作:
讲授本科生《生物统计与试验设计》、《动物分子生物学及实验》和《动物遗传学实验》。参与《家畜育种学》优质课程建设等教学研究项目。所获教学奖励包括湖北省优秀学士学位论文指导奖1项、华中农业大学本科毕业论文(设计)指导创新奖2项。
科研工作:
主要研究方向是农业动物生物信息与基因组学。主要从事大规模生物数据的分析、挖掘与解释工作。研究工作内容涵盖猪功能基因组学和生物信息学等。先后主持、承担和参与省部级课题10余项,目前主持的科研项目有国家自然科学基金、教育部新教师基金、科技部对欧盟合作项目3项。先后发表各类论文10余篇,其中以第一作者与通讯作者在《Journal of Medicinal Chemistry》、《BMC Evolutionary Biology》、《Journal of Animal and Veterinary Advances》、《医学分子生物学杂志》等国际SCI收录杂志和国内核心期刊上发表论文6篇,参加国家发明专利2件,曾指导大学生获湖北省优秀学士论文奖。
