从事作物遗传育种、统计学、数量遗传学等方面的教学、研究工作。承担973、863、国家自然科学基金、转基因专项、成果转化等课题任务;培育了油菜品种南农油1号、南农油2号、南农油3号;获得专利2项;拥有非常丰富的创新、特色油菜品种资源;发表论文20多篇,列出几篇发表论文。
