梅余霞，女，湖北黄梅人，1977年生，微生物学专业博士，现为华中农业大学生命科学技术学院讲师，研究方向为：植物次生代谢的细胞工程。
近年来主要研究成果：
      获得国家专利5项，成果鉴定5项；获湖北省科技进步三等奖一项；参编 “十一五”规划教材两部。
