教育及工作经历：
先后就读于武汉大学化学系高分子化学专业、华中农业大学农药及农用化学制剂专业，和中山大学化学系有机化学专业，理学博士。1984.8~1987.8 就职于化工部黎明化工研究院，助理工程师；1993.7～ 现在 就职于中山大学化学与化学工程学院应用化学系，有机化学研究所；其间于1996年至1997年在普渡大学师从Herber C. Brown教授进行博士后研究，2006年2月~6月以及2008年6月~7月在香港科技大学进行访问研究。

科研方向：
致力于有机合成、化学生物学、药物化学的研究，近期研究主要集中在a-葡萄糖苷酶抑制剂和抗肿瘤活性物质的设计与合成。先后参加或主持多项国家级和省级科研项目研究，目前是多家国际刊物Eur. J. Med. Chem., Bioorg. & Med. Chem., J. of Mol. Struct.等的审稿人。
