1963年11月生。1980.9-1984.7南京大学化学系化学专业学习,获学士学位；1984.9-1990.7南京大学研究生院学习，获博士学位。1992年任南京大学化学系副教授，2003年升任教授、博士生导师。担任南京大学国家级化学实验教学示范中心主任、化学实验课程国家级教学团队主持人。2007年获宝钢优秀教师奖； 2001、2005、2009年3次获得国家级教学成果二等奖；2007、2008年2次获得江苏省科技成果二等奖，2010年获教育部高等院校优秀科学研究成果奖自然科学一等奖（排名第三）。 出版教材：（1）《无机和分析化学实验》（第四版），高等教育出版社，2006年；（2）《仪器分析实验》（第二版），科学出版社，2009年; (3) 《大学化学实验》（第二版），高等教育出版社，2010年。 发表论文100余篇。
