于海博士，现为东北大学软件学院副教授。攻读博士学位期间开始从事非线性系统、混沌分形与复杂性理论，数字信号与数字图像处理等方向的研究工作，于国际学报《Information Science》、《International Journal of Bifurcation and Chaos》、《KYBERNETIKA》、《Optics Communications》、国内《计算机学报》、《电子信息学报》、《小型微型计算机》、及IEEE系列国际会议发表论文50余篇。曾先后参与国家自然科学基金、国家863高技术基金、国家博士点学科专项基金、辽宁省自然科学基金等10余项课题的研究，并先后荣获辽宁省发明创造一等奖和辽宁省科技进步二等奖。近年来多次参加和组织相关领域的国际、国内重要学术会议。参与9th International Conference for Young Computer Scientists, 1st -- 7th International Workshop on Chaos-Fractals Theories and Applications以及5th Asia-Pacific Workshop on Chaos Control and Synchronization等国际会议的组织工作，是以上会议的组织委员会委员。曾任9th International Conference for Young Computer Scientists最佳论文评选委员会主席。是第3-7届 International Workshop on Chaos-Fractals Theories and Applications以及第5届 Asia-Pacific Workshop on Chaos Control and Synchronization的程序委员会委员，是第4届 International Workshop on Chaos-Fractals Theories and Applications的程序委员会主席和第7届 International Workshop on Chaos-Fractals Theories and Applications的副主席。于海博士分别于2009年和2012年赴香港城市大学混沌与复杂网络研究中心访问交流，分别为Senior Research Assistant和Research Fellow。此外，他还是多个国内外国际期刊和审稿人，是国际期刊Mathematical problems in engineering的客座主编（Leader guest editor）。
