1998-2002年在中国科技大学攻读化学专业学士学位，2002-2005年在中国科技大学攻读科技考古专业硕士学位，2005-2011年在英国牛津大学攻读科技考古专业博士学位。先后师从王昌燧教授和Mark Pollard教授从事陶瓷、玻璃、彩料等中西方物质文化交流方向的研究。2011年8月起任教于西北大学文化遗产学院，代表性论文有：
